For the past ten years, one weekend in Summer, the city of Red Lodge, Montana transforms itself from the Gateway to Yellowstone National Park to a spot car enthusiasts come to show off their rides and do a little bit of drag racing.

This year was different due to the COVID virus, but thousands still flocked to the sleepy town and enjoyed the culture of the automobile. Working with the local County officials, organizers put together an event which allowed car show participants to run around on the local streets along with flag-started drag races, which were more just speed contests on the local airport runway, allowing participants a safe place to "open up" their rides.

Our Senior Editor Richard Brady was in attendance and shot dozens of photos, enjoying the day of great weather. Click on our Photo Gallery for a full gallery of photos.
